With this system, a realistic, controllable and player interaction-increasing durability mechanic is offered for weapons and armors. Developed fully compatible with Metin2 infrastructure, it adds strategic depth to the game without disturbing the PvE and PvP balance.
⚔️ Weapon Durability
Our weapons are created automatically with 100 durability.
As a temporary setting, it is configured to decrease 1 durability for each metin destroyed.
Durability drop rates are fully adjustable.
(Special scenarios such as Metin, mob, boss, PvP etc. can be added.)
When the weapon durability value reaches 0:
It breaks automatically and is unequipped
Breaking effect is played
The player receives a warning via chat when trying to equip the weapon again
🛡️ Armor Durability
Armors also start with 100 durability.
While wearing armor:
1 durability decreases for every 2000 damage taken
When durability becomes 0:
Armor is automatically removed
Breaking effect applied
Player informed
🧰 Repair Mechanics
There is a special repair item in the game
When this item is dragged and dropped onto any broken item:
Repair interface opens automatically
Required yang amount and info shown
When player confirms:
Item is fully repaired
Durability value restored
⚙️ Customizable Structure
Durability drop rates can easily be adjusted via config or source
Different rules can be defined for weapons and armors
Future scaling possible for:
refining, PvP damage, boss damage
Durability dependent on bonuses
Can be easily expanded to systems like partial repair
